About Scer
We built the psychological support we wished existed for the working world.
Scer began with a simple frustration: the best psychological care was hard to reach, slow to start, and rarely available in the languages people actually live in. We set out to fix that — for individuals, leaders, and the organisations around them.
Our story
From a Prague consulting room to teams in thirty countries.
Scer was founded in 2018 by a clinical psychologist and an organisational psychologist who kept meeting the same problem from two directions. One watched capable people wait months for therapy. The other watched capable companies treat wellbeing as a poster on the wall.
We started small, in a single room on Jungmannova, offering therapy that fit around real jobs. As demand grew — and as remote work made distance irrelevant — we built a vetted network of practitioners and a private platform to match people to the right one quickly.
Today Scer supports individuals, founders, and whole organisations across more than thirty countries, while keeping the thing that started it all: care that is rigorous, warm, and genuinely accessible. You can meet the people who do this work or see how the support is structured.
What we believe
Five commitments we don't compromise on.
Evidence over fashion
We use approaches with a real research base and let outcomes — not trends — decide what we keep doing.
Confidentiality is absolute
What is said in a session stays in the session. Employers see anonymised usage, never individuals.
Care in your language
Therapy works best in the language you think and feel in. We match people accordingly, in eighteen so far.
Access, not waiting lists
A first session within days, not months — because the moment someone reaches out matters.
Dignity for everyone
From the most senior executive to a first-week joiner, every person is met with the same respect.
A platform, not a panacea
We're honest about what psychology can and can't do.
Scer is most powerful as part of a workplace that genuinely cares. We'll tell you when therapy is the answer, when a manager conversation is, and when something structural needs to change. Explore our therapy service or executive coaching to see how we work.
